From 25th April Carpatair is flying to Rome !

Lublin Airport has announced a new scheduled flight to Rome. The new route will be operated by the biggest regional airline in Eastern Europe, Carpatair. New flights will operate from Lublin twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. The scheduled departure time from Lublin Airport is at 13:00 with arrival at Rome Fiumicino at 15:30. The departure time from Rome Fiumicino is at 09:40 with time of arrival at Lublin at 12:15

"Lublin Airport has successively introduced a new destination, developing a bigger network connection. Rome is a destination desired by most of Lublin citizens not only from touristic side but also for business purposes. I would like to highlight that launching a new destination is a result of cooperation between Lublin Airport Management and Carpatair” added Krzysztof Żuk, President of a Lublin Town.

“Rome is a second destination in Italy we are flying to and I am very pleased to offer it for our passengers. The date for our new connection to Rome gives an opportunity to participate in Beatification of John Paul II and also for a numerous pilgrims travelling during each year to Vatican.” says Krzysztof Wójtowicz the President of the Board.

Rome route will be operated by a twin turbofan airliner, Fokker 100, which can take on board 100 passengers. Ticket reservation is available online at www.carpatair.com or through the Airport’s web site www.airport.lublin.pl as well as through the travel agencies. The prices for tickets including the hand luggage and the checked in baggage starts from 79 EUR one way.

Rome is a second destination in Italy where Lublin will be flying to; on the 28th February 2014 Eurolot airline launched a connection between Lublin and Milan.
