New connection from Memmingen to Vilnius
A new gateway from Munich West to the Baltic states
Monday evening at the Allgäu Airport: the Wizz Air Airbus A320 from Vilnius arrived in Memmingen for the very first time. 135 passengers came to the Allgäu with the first flight and the crew is greeted with a sweet surprise and flowers. "We now want to continue the success story of Wizz Air in southeast Europe also in the northaest." explains Allgäu Airport Sales Director Marcel Schütz. Vilnius serves now a gateway to all the Baltik states Lithania, Latvia and Estonia and also to Belarus. The border is just about 40 kilometers from Vilnius. This new nonstop-flight is the only direct connection from southern Germany to the capital of Lithuania. That's why it is also very interesting for business trips.
