THE NEW WEBSITE WWW.RIMINIAIRPORT.COM IS ONLINE

Rimini, 5th April 2024 - AIRiminum 2014, the managing company of Rimini and San Marino International Airport, launches today its new website, available in 2 languages Italian-English and usable from any type of device (smartphone and tablet).

The new site, accessible at https://riminiairport.com, has been redesigned to offer quick and easy access to essential information for travellers. The portal is characterised by innovative graphics, developed in partnership with Studio Azione s.r.l. and based on a creative, minimalist and functional approach.

With this initiative, AIRiminum is committed to meeting passengers' needs, making travel planning to and from Rimini more intuitive and enjoyable. The new website represents a significant step towards an increasingly user-oriented service, ensuring effective interaction and simplified navigation.

In the flights section, in addition to the operation scheduled for the next ‘Summer’ season (31 March - 27 October) announced a few days ago, from the beginning of June to the end of September (with a weekly frequency), there is also the new charter flight to Bucharest by the Romanian airline Bees Airlines in collaboration with Tez Tour, a leading international tour operator and long-standing partner of the airport; the new route joins the other flights from Riga, Vilnius and Sofia that will be operated in 2024 by the same tour operator.

The number of airline partners at the Summer 2024 airport is 9 and they will connect Rimini to 16 destinations in 13 different countries.

Romania, in particular, in 2023, in relation to the Province of Rimini, ranked as the 4th tourist market in the European Union with approximately 35 thousand arrivals and 160 thousand presences (data: ISTAT - Emilia-Romagna region), preceded only by Germany, France and Poland and, in absolute, the 5th foreign tourist market considering Switzerland.

The objective with this flight is to stimulate an important tourist market for the area, so as to be able to replicate the same success recorded a few years ago with Poland, which, before connecting to Rimini with our scheduled flights, had opened up the market with charter flights operated by major tour operators.
