In the first six months of the year almost 130,000 passengers +23.1% compared to the same period in 2023.

Rimini, 5th July 2024 - AIRiminum 2014, the management company of Rimini and San Marino International Airport, announces that as of 30 June, the increase in commercial passengers recorded in the first 6 months of 2024 is approximately +23% compared to the same period in 2023

Total passengers are almost 130,000 with an overall load factor since the beginning of the year of 84% (LF: load factor).

Tirana and Cagliari (also operating in the winter season) are the ‘top destinations’ with almost 28,759 and 22,132 thousand passengers respectively, followed by Palermo (17,570 passengers) and Budapest (14,363 passengers).

Ryanair accounts for about 73% of commercial traffic while Wizzair for about 23%.

Foreign traffic is about 68.5% (first 4 foreign markets: Albania with 23%, Hungary with about 12%, Lithuania with 10% and Czech Republic with 7%), while traffic from Italy accounts for about 31.5%.

Passengers in June amounted to more than 44 thousand with an increase of +6% compared to June 2023 and the 130 flights in the month flew with a 90% fill rate. Palermo was the top domestic destination with 6,047 passengers and London the top foreign destination with 5,001 passengers; Kaunas with 4,483 passengers was the scheduled route with the highest fill rate of approximately 96.1% (a complete table of data is attached).
