AIRiminum and Rinascita Basket Rimini are now a team.
Rimini, 3rd October - Thursday (3 October) saw the official announcement, in the presence of the media, of the new partnership linking the company managing Rimini and San Marino International Airport with the city's basketball team, which plays in the A2 series.
The one between the management company of the city's airport, a fast-growing airport and strategic asset of the Rimini area, and Rbr is a bond that links two important and highly recognisable realities of the social and economic fabric of the same territory.
The conference for the presentation of the agreement took place inside the Rimini airport, with greetings and a welcome to the sports club by AIRiminum CEO Leonardo Corbucci: “From today the airport is your home. The airport is an important asset for the territory, and we, as a management company, must deserve this honour. To do so, we cannot limit ourselves to expressing our values, but must espouse those of the Rimini community and the entities that represent it, such as Rbr. Sport is absolutely one of the most exciting moments for all people, a time when we always feel like children, when we begin to absorb sociality, when we put the collective above the individual. We answered the call of friends who introduced us to this reality, and as AIRiminum we believe, in our own small way, that we can contribute to the movement. In this partnership we see a channel to establish ourselves in the territory and we want to set off on this beautiful adventure that is so far making us enjoy ourselves”.
Among the guests of Rinascita Basket Rimini, along with player Giovanni Tomassini, was general manager Davide Turci, who spoke about the roots of the agreement with AIRiminum: “In 2018, when this dream became reality, we started from three pillars: territory, passion and identity. Today we have the honour of presenting this partnership and the pride of being able to do a territorial marketing operation through our team, which crosses Italy every week. AIRiminum has come to know and understand this hoops community, which can give value to our territory as well as to our partners. We are very attached to the territory and look forward to seeing you at the arena to cheer. I also wanted to thank Giacomo Fabbri, a member of our Board of Directors, for having put our realities in contact”.
