Flights to Munich and Malta with Universal Air
Rimini, 27th December 2024 - AIRiminum 2014, the management company of Rimini and San Marino International Airport, announces the launch of the strategic partnership between Rimini Airport and Universal Air company starting next summer season.
It currently starts with two weekly connections, Rimini - Monaco and Rimini - Malta, operated with a Dash 8-400 with a capacity of 78 seats, from 5th June 2025 to 23rd October 2025 every Thursday.
The flights are on sale at www.flyuniversalair.com
Rimini thus joins Universal Air's network, which already flies to the following airports: Munich, Malta, Ibiza, Nice, Santorini, Casablanca, Majorca, Palermo, Pecs, Mayotte, Corfu, Tripoli and Reunion.
Leonardo Corbucci, CEO of Rimini Airport, commented:
“The launch of the partnership with Universal Air is yet another operation aimed at strengthening flight scheduling in 2025 and once again testifies to the solidity of the Rimini Airport industrial project launched in 2023 and its ability to attract new airlines.
This operation satisfies at the same time both the incoming needs of the territory, connecting it to its main market (Germany, precisely), and the outgoing ones by connecting it to the beautiful island of Malta.
With Universal Air in particular, we return to open the German market with scheduled flights by connecting Rimini to Munich, one of Europe's main airport hubs. Germany will also be developed in 2025 with a series of charter flights that will be announced soon.”
