EasyJet has grown considerably in Iceland since it first started operating flights between Keflavik and London in March 2012. The number of flights offered by easyJet has multiplied from 72 when first announced to 832 yearly flights  this coming yeat (16 departures a week). Next spring the fifth year-round route will be added, to Basel in Switzerland.

Bristol is considered one of the most beautiful cities in England with a population of 440 thousand. It‘s lively yet laid-back, with museums and award-winning restaurants as well as shops where everyone can find something they like. The Bristol Shopping Quarter in the heart of the city centre has hundreds of shops including Harvey Nichols plus one of the country’s largest Primark stores. Those who want to have a little fun after a long day can visit some of Bristol‘s many pubs, music halls, cocktail lounges and nightclubs.

It‘s a short drive to Cardiff, Southampton, Oxford and Bath and London is 100 km away.

Hugh Aitken, easyJet's UK Commercial Manager:

"easyJet is very excited to offer Icelanders and Britons this new route. We are very proud of the fact that we are able to offer cheaper options in flying and destinations that haven't been available to Icelanders before. We want to continue to grow in Iceland and believe firmly that this route will be well received, like the others we offer from Iceland."
