Cargo numbers reached Record High in 2021 at Keflavik Airport

We have been going over our cargo -numbers and -development over the past years and to our excitement the cargo numbers reached a record high in 2021 at Keflavik and grew 5% from the previous record year in 2018. Cargo grew 20% year-on-year between 2021 and 2020, from 49 thousand tonnes to 59 thousand.
 
We at Keflavik Airport are extremely optimistic about the future of cargo in KEF, as that is a sector that we want to put more focus on and grow sustainably for years to come.
