Positive passenger numbers at Keflavik Airport

We at Keflavík Airport have been going through our passenger numbers for the last 3 years and like everyone knows the last two years have been a little bit unreal. However we see our numbers moving up. In 2021 over 2.1 million passengers went through the airport. Compared to 2020 and 2019 passenger numbers of 1.3 million and 7.2 million, respectively.
 
Last year counted roughly 17 thousand flights with 26 airlines, compared to 10 thousand flights with 23 airlines in 2020 and 45 thousand flights with 33 airlines in 2019.
 
We are hopeful and positive that in 2022 we will see further growth at Keflavík and looking forward to welcoming new airlines and introducing new destinations from KEF.
