Something new, something old - summer flights from Tampere

airBaltics summer destinations from Tampere are offering plenty of sun for its passengers, but there are also great city destinations giving a good connectivity throughout the Continental Europe.

With the start of the summer season on March, airBaltic re-launched its direct route to Copenhagen from Tampere. This connection is important not only for Tampere Region, as it will give the passengers  new opportunities to use the Copenhagen airport as a gateway to longhaul flights within airBaltic codeshare partners network, but also for the entire Mid-Finland economics as Copenhagen is the most wanted and needed flight route for Tamperean companies. Flights between Tampere and Copenhagen will take place three times a week.

In the summer season the home airline of Tampere, airBaltic, re-started weekly flights to Rhodes, and continued flights twice a week to Tallinn and Malaga. Route to Riga is back on daily operations during the summerseason. The newbie for summer 2024 is the Mediterranean pearl Palma de Mallorca which is operated twice a week throughout the summer. 

During summer airBaltic offer its passengers from Tampere 6 direct destinations, and over 70 destination with one flight change in Riga.

Flights to Gran Canaria and Kittilä will continue also this year in the winter season and flights to Riga will be added to 8 flights a week.

Being one of the airBaltic home cities, gives Tampere an excellent accessibility for all customers via airBaltic main hub Riga and other hubs in Tallinn and Copenhagen. Connecting to airBaltic network in Riga, but also airBaltic partners network in other stations gives easy and fast access to whole Continental Europe, but also to long-haul flights as well as all passengers arriving to Tampere.

Tampere has been airBaltics home city from 1st of May 2022. Tampere is the first base outside the Baltics and one of the four homebases for latvian carrier airBaltic.
