About Us

The Saudi Air Connectivity Program (ACP) was established in 2021 with the primary aim of supporting air travel partners as they initiate or expand their presence in the Kingdom. The Program aims to position the Kingdom as a global leader in tourism air connectivity by developing new and existing air routes that connect new destinations to Saudi Arabia.

By bridging the gap between the tourism and aviation sectors, ACP enables the objectives of the Kingdom’s National Tourism Strategy and National Aviation Strategy, increasing resilient capacity and ensuring high-quality service standards.

The Program’s mandate includes the following strategic objectives:

Enabling and enhancing air connectivity

ACP develops market opportunities, expands access to new destinations, and strengthens the Kingdom's air connectivity by improving existing routes and establishing new ones.

 Maximizing stakeholder engagement

The program enables growth in the Kingdom by encouraging collaboration and multistakeholder engagement across the tourism and aviation sectors.

 Ensuring operational excellence

ACP prioritizes operational excellence by recruiting qualified personnel, implementing ongoing service and process enhancements, and adopting advanced technology solutions.

Leveraging its strategic position at the intersection of tourism and aviation globally, ACP provides a comprehensive package for current and prospective air travel partners.

 ACP supports its objectives through:

1. End-to-end support

ACP enables connections with partners and authorities, providing market entry, route sustainability, and co-marketing support for eligible markets in partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA).

 2. Route Development Committees

ACP has established Route Development Committees in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, ensuring group-level discussions on incentives and timely stakeholder updates.

 3. Airports incentives

ACP works on both ends, collaborating with Saudi and international airports to provide airlines with operational cost benefits and data sharing.

 4. Other incentives

ACP engages with various tourism entities, including hotels to provide airlines with cost-effective crew accommodation options.
