Start your journey in Belfast and follow the coast road through the nine Glens of Antrim winding between picturesque villages and unforgettable scenic locations including Rathlin Island, Northern Ireland’s only inhabited off-shore island, and Binevenagh with its dramatic cliffs. The route peaks at the Giant’s Causeway on the North Antrim coast.

Arrive at Carrick a Rede Rope Bridge Take the bracing walk across Carrick a-Rede Rope Bridge. Traditionally fishermen erected the rope bridge to Carrick-a-Rede island over a 23m deep chasm to check their salmon nets. Today visitors are drawn here simply to take the Rope Bridge Challenge. |

Depart Bushmills Visit to the Giant’s Causeway and Visitor Centre. Formed over 60 million years ago, the Giant’s Causeway is an awe inspiring landscape of mostly hexagonal basalt columns. The £18m Visitor Centre is an innovative state of the art facility which rises out of the landscape with walls of glass, soaring basalt columns and a sloping grass roof. |
