Hidden below Calles Guayaquil and Venezuela lies one of Quito's oldest streets. Between Puente de los Gallinazos (Vulture Bridge) and Tunel de la Paz (Peace Tunnel), La Ronda Street marked the end of the city in Colonial times. Here, Bohemian lifestyles lurked, poets were inspired and musicians found their muse. Some of Quito's most beloved songwriters serenaded its balconies, and some of the city's most heated intellectual arguments took place in its taverns. Today, an ambitious restoration project has turned it into a place to shop, drink, walk and meet local artisans.
You'll visit this famous neighbourhood and enjoy traditional craft workshops and tasting sessions, followed by a visit to Carmen Alto Museum and the Cathedral's domes, lunch at Plaza Grande Hotel and a chocolate experience at the Cacao Museum.

After your visit to Itchimbía viewpoint, you'll visit the San Marcos neighbourhood with Mediarte Cultural Managers and the Santa Catalina de Siena Monastery, have lunch at Octava de Corpus restaurant and enjoy a cooking class at Illa Hotel and paila ice cream experience at San Agustín convent.
