Visa Information

All foreign citizens wishing to travel to Kenya will need an e-visa to Mombasa, except citizens from countries who are exempt. Participants are advised to ascertain with the respective Embassies whether or not they are exempt from the Kenyan entry visa requirement http://evisa.go.ke/eligibility.html

Kenya visas may be applied for on-line through http://evisa.go.ke/evisa.html

Document required during visa application are;

  1. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months with at least 3 free pages.
  2. 1 recent passport photograph taken against a white background
  3. A Photocopy of your bio data page.
  4. Invitation letter
  5. Valid air ticket
  6. Hotel stay reservations

It is important to apply for your e-visas well in advance. This makes the immigration process simpler & faster.

PLEASE NOTE: Holders of any Travel Documents/Certificates of Identity and nationals of the following countries shall have their visa applications referred to the Director of Immigration Services, Nairobi for approval: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cameroon, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (Formerly North Korea), Eritrea, Iraq, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Palestine, Senegal, Somalia, Syria, Tajikistan and Yemen. These applications are usually forwarded to Immigration Headquarters, Nairobi for processing which takes 6-8 weeks.
