Preparing for Fast Track

To help enhance your Fast Track experience and make the most out of the sessions, we’ve put together some useful tips.

1. Identify your key targets

Identify key targetsUsing the attendee list, identify representatives from your target carriers to create a shortlist of those you want to meet. 

2. Prepare your questions

Prepare questionsResearch your key targets and formulate two or three key questions for each airline.

3. Plan your own route

Map out which airlines you wish to meet using the airline table plan which will be available on the app, displayed throughout the event on screens and at Diary Advice. 

4. Exchange contact details

Introduce yourself and exchange business cards.

5. Keep it brief

Summarise your presentation with 3-5 key points, and consider a one-pager that clearly describes your market and opportunity. 

6. Keep to the time limit

Each slot lasts for just 5 minutes. Keep to the time limit to make sure you meet as many of your key targets as possible. 

7. Set up a meeting

Arrange a time outside of the session to continue your conversations and discuss business opportunities further.

8. Follow up

Follow up

Post-event, make time to follow up with airlines you have met on the day via email or a phone call when you return home after the event, but don’t leave it more than a week or two.
