Getting from the Airport

The most convenient and quickest way for delegates to get to the event venue, Sheraton Chicago, from Midway or O’Hare International Airport, is by taxi or train.

Arriving at O'Hare?

Taxi

According to the Chicago Department of Transport, travelling downtown takes 15-40 minutes, depending upon the time of day. An average fare from O'Hare to downtown Chicago is $35-45

Passengers may meet Uber and Lyft drivers for pickup at Terminal 2, Upper Level Departures.

Passengers arriving at Terminals 1, 3 or 5 can transfer to Terminal 2 aboard the Airport Transit System (ATS), which operates 24/7, between all terminals and the Multi-model Facility.

Taxi stands and black cab pick-ups continue to be available at all terminals, and all rideshare drivers can drop off departing passengers at all terminals. To ensure you have a licensed taxi driver, please use the taxi stands. 

Trains

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) operates trains from O’Hare to downtown Chicago for $5. The trip takes approximately 45 minutes, which is far quicker than taxis or bus transfers during peak traffic times.

The CTA Blue Line station is accessible via O'Hare's lower level in Terminal 2.

The Blue Line is the easiest and most affordable way to get to O'Hare, offering 24-hour service, with more frequent service during weekday morning and evening rush hours. The nearest station to the event venue is Clark/Lake, approximately half a mile away. Easily accessible via foot or taxi.

Arriving at Midway?

Taxi

The Uber and Lyft pickup location at Midway International Airport is located at Arrivals, Lower Level - Center Lane - Door 4. Fares are based on traffic conditions, but an average fare from O'Hare to downtown Chicago is approx. $30-40

Taxi stands are located at Lower Level, Inner Lane - Door 2. Taxis are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please use the taxi stands to ensure you have a licensed taxi driver.

Train 

To reach downtown Chicago, delegates can take the CTA Orange Line. The Orange Line station can be found east of the terminal building at the Midway Transportation Center. Follow signs for CTA Trains or Trains to City to locate the station, via a walkway. 

From Midway Airport to downtown Chicago the train takes approx. 25 minutes and the fare is around $2.25.The nearest stations to the event venue are State/Lake and Clark/Lake, both are approximately a 10-minute walk away.
