The most central Polish airport, in the heart of Poland! Only 6km from the centre of Łódź city, third biggest Polish city with a population of 1.1 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area. Motorways and expressways extend the airport’s catchment area to 16 million people (2 hour isochrone; 43% of the total population of Poland).

Łódź (pronounced woodge) is “Best Of The World 2022” granted by National Geographic as a green city leading in sustainability.

600 years

“Best Landscape Architecture for Poland” is another award for Łódź, which will be host of World Horticultural EXPO in 2029.

Lodz Airport is the only regional Polish airport, which signed “Toulouse Declaration” and joined aviation’s Net Zero by 2050 initiative.

2023 marks the 600th anniversary of Łódź, making this a significant year for Routes Europe 2023 to be taking place in the city.
