What to Expect at Our Events?

Overview Meetings

Face-to-Face Meetings

Meetings form the core of Routes events. Airport and tourism delegates, who register as a meetings delegate, can submit their airline requests on 24 February. The meeting system opens to all other delegates on 3 April.

Time: Between 9:30am-5:35pm, for 20 mins slots

Event 101

What is the dress code for Routes Europe?

We recommend business attire for the three business days of Routes Europe. For the Welcome Reception and Networking evening, we recommend smart casual attire. 

How do I gain access to Routes Europe 2025?

You will need your delegate badge to gain access to all events at Routes Europe 2025. You will receive your badge QR code a few days before the event via email. You can print your badge ahead of the event and pick up a lanyard and badge sleeve at registration.

You can also collect your badge at Badge Collection on Monday 7 April at the Event Venue and Welcome Reception. Please have the barcode on your delegate badge email ready at Badge Collection. If you are joining us later you can collect your badge at the Event Venue from 8am on Tuesday 8 April. For more information view the event programme.

Who will be at Routes Europe 2025?

Airlines, Airports, Tourism Authorities, Industry Suppliers and Economic Development Agencies from across the world will be at Routes Europe 2025. You can view the full attendee list here.

What food and drink can I expect at Routes Europe 2025?

During the event days. there will be various food options available. During breaks, snacks and drinks will be provided in the hosted seating areas. During lunch, there will be hot and cold options as well as drinks.

During the Welcome Reception, you can expect canapes and drinks.

During the Networking Evening, you can expect a buffet and drinks.

Hotels and Travel

How do I book accommodation for this year's event?

Delegates can compare and sort hotels by distance, price and TripAdvisor rating on our dedicated webpage, hosted by our official hotel provider, HotelMap. View and book Official Hotels in Seville.

Are there Airport and Event Transfers available?

Yes, there will be Airport and Event Transfers available to and from all Official Hotels and event venues. They are currently being finalised by the team. Please complete our Travel and Hotel Details form to help us plan airport and networking evening transfers.

Do I need a visa to travel to Seville?

The majority of countries within the EU and Schengen area can travel without a visa within the Schengen area (including Spain) for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. This applies to travel to business meetings and conferences. If you require more information regarding e-visas or visa support letters, view our Travel guidance page.

Meetings

Below we have listed the most frequently asked questions regarding meetings at Routes Europe. 

When and how can I request meetings?

If you are registered as a meetings delegate, you can request pre-scheduled meetings from 24 February for airline, airport, tourism authority and economic development organisation delegates. Routes 360 members, exhibitors and sponsors can request meetings from 17 February. For supplier delegates, the meeting request system will open on 3 April.

After 3 April you can access the on-site meeting system and request additional meetings. Find out more information here on how to use the meeting request system.

Where can I find my meeting diary?

Your draft meetings diary will be available via the Routes App on 3 April.

Any tips for a successful meeting?

1. Keep presentations short and to the point… less is more!
2. Meetings are more than presenting information, they are about building relationships.
3. Understand an airline's network, fleet, business model, alliance relationships and strategy.
4. Present content that is visually appealing and easy to digest.

What are the networking opportunities during the event?

There are networking sessions and opportunities throughout the event days, including the Welcome Reception and Networking Evening. You can find the full schedule in our event programme

Where are the Networking Events?

The Welcome Reception will take place on 7 April, ahead of the first day of the event at the Royal Alcázar of Seville.

The Networking Evening will take place on 9 April, venue TBC. 

Transfers will be available for the Networking Evening. More information about the events can be found here.

Do you need to book a place at the conference sessions?

No, you do not need to book to attend any of our conference sessions. You can freely turn up to any sessions you wish to see.

Who will be at the conference?

Many key leaders and decision-makers will be speaking at Routes Europe 2025. Previous speakers included airBaltic's VP of Network Development Mantas Vrubliauskas, SAS' President and CEO Anko Van Der Werff, Aarhus Airport's CEO Lotta Sandsgaard. The conference programme will be available soon

Where can I find the Routes App?

The Routes Event App for Routes Europe 2025 will be available in March 2025. Once you have logged into the app, download Routes Europe 2025 to start your access to the latest event.

How do I log into the Routes App?

To gain access, you will be sent an email inviting you to log in. This email contains your Access Code which you will need to set up your account, once you have entered your email. Once you have made an account, select Routes Europe 2025 to access the event app. If you are asked for a password when you enter your email and cannot remember it, you can easily request to reset your password. Please note that your App Access Code is not the same at your PRC code.
