Munich Airport International (MAI), a 100% subsidiary of Flughafen München GmbH (Munich Airport), boasts over 30 years of excellence in shaping the global aviation industry. With three subsidiaries and affiliated companies, MAI employs around 200 highly skilled experts globally and has a proven track record of more than 155 successfully delivered projects across more than 55 countries.

Since early 2019, MAI was responsible for the operation of the former Terminal A of Newark Liberty International Airport and has seen the new Terminal A, that was opened in January 2023, through its construction phase. Through its subsidiary Munich Airport NJ LLC MAI is responsible for the operation and concession management of the new Terminal A, that was awarded 5stars by Skytrax in April 2024. This award makes the Munich Airport Group the only company worldwide that operates two airport infrastructures on two different continents.
In addition, MAI is operations partner for SOF Connect at Sofia Airport (Bulgaria), for PIA at Palmerola International Airport (Honduras) and for ADIMEX at the cargo terminal of El Salvador International Airport (El Salvador).
