Routes Silk Road 2015 gets off to a flying start
This year’s Routes Silk Road started on Sunday in Tbilisi, Georgia and continues until tomorrow (7th July)
Routes Silk Road delegates were given the opportunity to enjoy an escorted walking tour around the Georgian capital to learn more about its history and recent development. The excursion, sponsored by the Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA), took the airline and airport delegates to the historic part of the city as well as to the modern Bridge of Peace, allowing them to take in Tbilisi’s full history.
After a full first day of panel sessions and presentations at the Strategy summit, Katie Bland, Director, Routes welcomed delegates to Tbilisi City Hall for the Welcome Reception.
Day 2 of the event features the final stages of the Strategy Summit and the start of Face-to-Face meetings.
