Routes Asia 2025 – Latest Perth site visit

Perth at night

Routes Asia 2025 will take place in Perth, Australia between 25-27 March. Prior to the event, the Routes team conduct numerous site visits to the destination to meet with the hosts, visit the venue where over 3,000 meetings will take place to define air connectivity and explore the fantastic opportunities that delegates can experience during their time in Perth, including numerous networking events.

Members of our Host and Event Management team recently visited Western Australia’s capital and shared their experience and recommendations with future Routes Asia 2025 delegates.

Who did you meet with?

We met up with our host teams from Tourism Western Australia and Perth Airport and managed to meet with the venue team at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Over the course of the three-day site visit, we had many productive meetings at the venue, networking locations and the airport allowing us to get ahead in the planning stages for Routes Asia 2025 in order to make it a truly unforgettable event.

Hear from co-host of the event, Perth Airport, on its recent route success and what delegates can expect from their time in Perth during the video interview at Routes Asia 2024 in Langkawi.

What can you tell us about the venue?

The venue is conveniently located in central Perth, an easy walk from our Official Hotels, and to some amazing restaurants, bars, shopping, and attractions around the city. Routes Asia 2025 will take place over three exhibition halls allowing for Airline Meeting Halls, the Conference Theatre and lunch areas to be located in one convenient space, with the exhibition at the centre of it.

Where did you stay?

We stayed at the Adina hotel, which sits right next to the convention centre! When I say it’s less than a minute to walk, I am not joking! It’s a great apartment style hotel with spacious rooms, bathrooms and even a kitchen. We also visited all the other hotels that will be part of our Official Hotel booking options, and they are all of incredible standard allowing you an ample amount of choice to select something that fits your needs.

What did you see?

Outside of the venue, we visited Perth Airport where the team introduced us to the arrivals process and transfers into the city. The process is very well thought out, which means delegates can expect a smooth start to your experience. We also visited Networking locations and without giving too much away, I can promise some breathtaking views alongside great entertainment.

What is one thing you would recommend our delegates must do when they attend the event?

Make sure to keep some time spare so can you take a ferry to Rottnest Island, also known as Rotto by locals. There you will be able to see Perth’s signature – the beautiful quokkas. It’s an experience not to be missed. After, rent a bicycle right on the island and cycle around for some incredible natural wonders hidden at every corner!

Hosted by Perth Airport and Tourism Western Australia, Routes Asia 2025 is set to be a standout event where delegates can expect to explore new business opportunities and experience all Perth has to offer. Registration is now open, confirm your place today.
